121 Release 2.44: Auto-Update for macOS, Log Cleanup, and Custom Rate Aggregator

Preparing for the Launch of the Invoices Plugin for Payment Pages and Crypto Payment Processing
We are starting the testing phase for the new Invoices plugin and payment page functionality in BitHide. This tool will allow you to easily and quickly integrate your services and accept payments through a payment page. It guides your customers through every step: entering the amount, selecting a currency, generating a unique address with a QR code for deposits, tracking payment status, and automatically redirecting customers to the required page after payment completion.
What Will Be Available?
- New Plugin – Invoices. With Invoices, you can create separate projects to integrate external services via the payment page. Each project can be customized with:
- Project name and label.
- Wallet for receiving payments.
- Logo and user agreement.
- Customer support via Telegram and Email.
- Time for awaiting payment, base currency for invoicing, and accepted cryptocurrencies.
- Fees and conditions for automatic confirmation of partially paid invoices.
- Links to the payment page, success and failure pages, and your server for handling new transaction notifications.
Once configured, you will receive a payment button code to embed into your website to start accepting payments.
- The Payment Button code can be easily customized to fit the style of your site and add the necessary individual parameters. For example, you can specify a certain amount or currency rates you want to receive.
- Managing Payments and Invoices:
- All payments and open invoices will be displayed in the Invoice & Payments tab with detailed data on invoices and their statuses.

Automatic Client Update for macOS
We’ve implemented automatic interface updates for macOS users, allowing you to get the latest versions without extra steps or contacting support.
How it works?
- BitHide checks for new versions and notifies you via a modal window. The window includes three buttons:
- Download installer – quickly download the update with one click.
- Download manual – opens the PDF instruction in your browser.
- Cancel – closes the window, allowing you to continue working without updating
- After downloading, you can follow the manual to install the update and enjoy the latest version of the client.
The update process will be even simpler and more convenient for macOS users!
Added Automatic Wallet Log Cleanup
BitHide now takes care of your disk space! We’ve added an automatic log cleanup mechanism that keeps things organized and saves space on your device.
How it works?
- Log cleanup runs automatically once a day.
- By default, the system stores logs for the last 60 days and maintains at least 30% free disk space.
- If disk space runs low, BitHide will delete old logs to free up space.
- You’ll receive a notification in Telegram about the cleanup results: how many files were deleted and how much space was freed.
- If cleanup doesn’t free enough space, you’ll get a warning about the critical situation.
Added Wallet Filtering by Label for Easier Withdrawals
We’ve added the ability to filter wallets by Label in the withdrawal window. You can quickly find the necessary wallets by selecting one or multiple labels from the dropdown menu.
What’s new?
- A multi-select option for choosing wallet labels has been added to the From section.
- After selecting labels, the wallet list is automatically filtered, simplifying the withdrawal process.
- All labels are selected by default, but you can adjust the filtering to suit your needs.
- The withdrawal window design has been updated according to the latest standards for better usability.

Resolved Issue with Rate Retrieval Blockages from Third-Party Providers
We’ve improved the service's stability by implementing rate retrieval through our aggregator, which operates without restrictions for all geolocations. Previously, some users experienced issues with data blockages from third-party services like Binance. This problem is now fully resolved.
What’s changed?
- Rate retrieval is now handled directly through the BitHide server.
- Blockages from third-party providers no longer affect wallet performance.
- Rates are updated automatically and displayed without delays for all users.
