Server

A computer or program that provides certain services, resources, or functionality to other computers, devices, or programs, called clients. Servers play an important role in distributed systems by providing access to data, processing requests, and performing various tasks. They can provide a variety of services such as file storage and management, web hosting, email, databases, gaming services and many others. Servers can run on either physical machines or virtual machines in the cloud, and they are usually highly reliable and powerful enough to serve many clients simultaneously.
